Abstract
Dado un dispositivo de formación imágenes específico y sistemas descritos además aquí, las características de la herida de una herida emiten fluorescencia con una firma espectral única cuando se somete a luz de excitación con una longitud de onda o rango de longitudes de onda conocidas. Las imágenes capturadas a partir de ellas están sujetas a análisis de píxeles de las mismas, con una pluralidad de imágenes de entrenamiento que tienen tamaños de herida conocidos y características marcadas en las mismas que se usan para generar datos de entrenamiento, que posteriormente se usan para identificar las características de la herida a partir de imágenes de prueba en tiempo real. Los tamaños de la herida, los límites de la herida, la presencia bacteriana y otras características pueden cuantificarse y representarse gráficamente como una superposición en la imagen original de la herida junto con la documentación relacionada con la herida.
