Abstract

En la presente se describen métodos para preparar geles termoplástico y geles de silicona seca con un alquil éster polidimetilsiloxano que tiene una fórmula (I): también se describen geles termoplásticos y geles de silicona seca preparados por los métodos descritos; en la fórmula (I), n es aproximadamente 60% a aproximadamente 90% de la fórmula (I); m es aproximadamente 10% a aproximadamente 40% de la fórmula (I); R es -(C=O)-OR1; y R1 es un grupo alquilo de C2-C20; el alquil éster polidimetilsiloxano tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso de aproximadamente 10,000 g/moles a aproximadamente 50,000 g/moles; la dureza de los geles termoplásticos es inferior a 120 g de carga máxima; la dureza del gel de silicona seca es inferior a 100 g de carga máxima.
