Abstract
Un método para llevar a cabo la protección de la integridad de los datos en una red de comunicaciones. De acuerdo con una implementación, un dispositivo de comunicación inalámbrica indica, a una red inalámbrica, la velocidad máxima de datos hasta la cual se admite la protección de integridad para los datos del plano del usuario. Un nodo de red (por ejemplo, un nodo de la red central, como un SMF) recibe esta información y determina si habilitar o no la protección de integridad para los datos del plano del usuario en función de la información (posiblemente junto con otra información, como los datos mínimos tasa a ser compatible, etc.). El nodo de red luego comunica la decisión de habilitar o deshabilitar la protección de integridad a un nodo RAN (por ejemplo, una estación base inalámbrica).
