Abstract
Se describen composiciones de polímeros de etileno que contienen un primer componente de polímero de etileno ramificado homogéneamente y un segundo componente de polímero de etileno ramificado homogéneamente de mayor densidad que el primer componente de polímero de etileno. La composición de polímero de etileno se puede caracterizar por una densidad de 0.912 a 0.925 g/cm3, un índice de fusión inferior a 3.5 g/10 min y un parámetro CY-a a 190 °C de 0.25 a 0.65. Estas composiciones poliméricas tienen la excelente resistencia al impacto del dardo y las propiedades ópticas de un LLDPE catalizado con metaloceno, pero con una resistencia mejorada a la rotura en la dirección de la máquina, y se pueden usar en películas sopladas y otras aplicaciones de uso final.
