Abstract
Un dispositivo de onda acústica superficial (SAW) multiplexante para la excitación simultanea de sensores SAW o la detección simultánea de múltiples analitos, objetivos o bioagentes. El dispositivo incluye una pluralidad de sensores SAW acomodados en un arreglo. Cada sensor tiene una línea de retraso y cada una de las líneas de retraso son diferentes en longitud. Los sensores del dispositivo SAW multiplexante son excitados simultáneamente para generar un arreglo de ondas acústicas superficiales que se propagan a lo largo de las líneas de retraso de cada sensor SAW. Debido a que la longitud de cada línea de retraso es diferente para cada sensor SAW, el tiempo de propagación de las ondas acústicas superficiales varia en base al menos en parte en la variación de longitud. Un tren de pulso comprimido puede ser generado con un tiempo de retraso específico de acuerdo con la diferencia de longitud de las líneas de retraso. La fase u otra información del tren de pulso comprimido pueden ser extraídas.
