Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una cinta de fibras ópticas, que comprende una pluralidad de unidades de fibras ópticas adyacentes, las cuales se extienden en dirección longitudinal y están dispuestas en paralelo, formando un montaje de fibras ópticas que tiene un ancho; cada una de las unidades de fibras ópticas comprende ya sea una sola fibra o bien, un grupo de tres fibras ópticas como máximo -con preferencia, de dos fibras ópticas- encapsuladas con un material matricial y una pluralidad de perlas rectilíneas, alargadas y sucesivas de un material de unión que se disponen a lo largo de un tramo de dicho montaje; cada perla de la mencionada pluralidad de perlas está configurada para formar una unión alargada entre dos unidades de fibras ópticas adyacentes de la pluralidad de unidades de fibras ópticas; donde la primera perla que forma una primera unión conecta un primer par de unidades de fibras ópticas adyacentes, en tanto que la unión sucesiva formada por la perla sucesiva, conecta otro par de unidades de fibras ópticas adyacentes, donde al menos una unidad de fibras ópticas del otro par difiere de las unidades de fibras ópticas del primer par; donde en cada posición longitudinal del montaje de fibras ópticas hay, como máximo, una unión. La presente invención, además, se refiere a un método para producir dicha una cinta de fibras ópticas.
