Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a nuevas cepas aisladas del género Beauveria donde Beauveria bassiana tiene el número de accesión CM-CNRG TB96 y Beauveria sulfurescens número de accesión CM-CNRG TB97, con la capacidad de infectar activamente y provocar una alta patogenicidad en el biocontrol de insectos plaga. Adicionalmente, la presente invención proporciona una composición eficaz y eficiente que incluye al menos una cepa aislada de Beauveria bassiana y/o Beauveria sulfurescens para la prevención y/o control biológico de una población heterogénea de plagas forestales de la familia Curculionidae.
