Abstract

Se describen composiciones adhesivas a base de solvente, en donde las composiciones comprenden (A) una resina de poliéster-uretano, (B) un compuesto de poliéster terminado en epoxi, (C) un ácido fosfórico y (D) un agente de curado de isocianato alifático. Métodos para preparar una composición adhesiva a base de solvente, en donde los métodos comprenden proporcionar una resina de poliéster-uretano, proporcionar un compuesto de poliéster terminado en epoxi, mezclar la resina de poliéster-uretano, un compuesto de poliéster terminado en epoxi y ácido fosfórico para formar una mezcla de resina, diluir la mezcla de resina en un solvente para formar un mezcla de resina diluida que tiene un contenido de sólidos de aplicación de 25 a 55 por ciento en peso, en función del peso total de la mezcla de resina diluida, y curar la mezcla de resina diluida con un agente de curado de isocianato alifático en una relación de mezcla (partes en peso de mezcla de resina antes de la dilución : partes en peso de agente de curado de isocianato alifático) de 100:1 a 100:12. También se describen laminados preparados que comprenden los adhesivos a base de solvente y de acuerdo con los métodos descritos.
