Abstract
Una resina compuesta que comprende nanopartículas de plata y un polímero donde las nanopartículas de plata se forman mediante la reducción de los iones de plata por los grupos funcionales del polímero sin la adición o aplicación de un agente reductor externo. La resina compuesta tiene una baja tasa de lixiviación de plata. La resina compuesta puede usarse como un recubrimiento superficial, particularmente un recubrimiento superficial antimicrobiano o antiincrustante.
