Abstract

Un método de decodificación de imágenes realizado por medio de un dispositivo de decodificación de conformidad con la presente invención comprende los pasos de: obtener la primera información de división relacionada con un primer bloque objetivo; si la primera información de división indica que el primer bloque objetivo se va a dividir, dividir el primer bloque objetivo en primeros sub-bloques; obtener información de división de MPT relacionada con un segundo bloque objetivo que es uno de los primeros sub-bloques del primer bloque objetivo; dividir el segundo bloque objetivo en segundos sub-bloques sobre la base de la información de división de MPT; y decodificar los segundos sub-bloques, en donde los segundos sub-bloques son bloques no cuadrados.
