Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un pistón para su uso en un inyector que comprende un cilindro que presenta un eje longitudinal y una pared interior, tal pistón presenta un elemento de sellado deformable con una superficie convexa, tal elemento de sellado deformable, cuando el pistón es insertado en el cilindro se apoya en la pared interior del cilindro en una interfaz de apoyo y sella una ranura anular entre el pistón y la pared interior del cilindro, presentando la interfaz de apoyo y el elemento de sellado deformable dimensiones axiales paralelas con el eje longitudinal, caracterizado porque la relación entre la dimensión axial de la interfaz de apoyo y la dimensión axial del elemento de sellado deformable se encuentra en el intervalo entre 0,01 y 0,2.
