Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método y un dispositivo para soportar una hoja de vidrio o una pila de hojas de vidrio, denominadas el vidrio, en una banda de contacto entre el borde y hasta 200 mm a partir del borde del vidrio, sin entrar en contacto con el vidrio más allá de 200 mm a partir del borde del vidrio, que comprende un primer soporte y un segundo soporte, cada uno de estos soportes comprende un bastidor y medios de soporte para soportar el vidrio conectado al bastidor, los medios de soporte de cada soporte comprenden una superficie para soportar el vidrio, que comprenden un material fibroso capaz de hacer contacto con el vidrio en la banda de contacto a una temperatura de entre 400 y 600°C, los dos soportes son capaces de moverse en un movimiento relativo vertical de transferencia que permite que la superficie de soporte de uno pase sobre o por debajo de la superficie de soporte del otro para transferir el vidrio desde un soporte hasta el otro, los medios de soporte del primer soporte comprenden un pasaje capaz de permitir que pase un brazo conectado al segundo soporte durante el movimiento relativo vertical de transferencia.
