Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al campo de la reducción de la emisión de metano en rumiantes. En particular, se refiere al uso de una composición alimenticia o un aditivo alimenticio que comprende al menos un ácido graso que contiene al menos 5 átomos de carbono y al menos una molécula orgánica sustituida en cualquier posición que cuente con al menos un grupo nitroxi, para reducir la producción de metano que emanan de las actividades digestivas de los rumiantes, o para mejorar el rendimiento de los rumiantes.
