Abstract

En el presente documento se describe un proceso para formar un paquete sellado herméticamente, que incluye formar una lámina de envoltura hecha de material de plástico, en particular, que tiene un espesor de menos de o igual a 140 µm. El proceso contempla: - formar en dicha lámina (10) una primera porción hueca (11) y una segunda porción perimetral (13), que delimita al menos parcialmente dicha primera porción; insertar el producto en dicha porción hueca (11) obtenida en dicha lámina de envoltura (10); - aplicar una segunda lámina de envoltura (30) en contacto con dicha porción perimetral (13) para cerrar dicha porción hueca (11) con dicho producto dentro; y - soldar dicha segunda lámina en la primera lámina a lo largo de dicha porción perimetral (13). El proceso se caracteriza por formar dicha primera lámina. Incluye proporcionar en la segunda porción perimetral de una serie de pliegues (122) de la lámina, que luego se sellan.
