Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifican nuevas luciferasas, sus fragmentos funcionales, homólogos y mutantes, así como también proteínas codificadas por dichos ácidos nucleicos. Las moléculas de ácidos nucleicos de interés se aíslan de hongos o se obtienen mediante métodos de ingeniería genética. También, se proveen células huésped, líneas celulares estables, y organismos transgénicos que comprenden tales moléculas de ácidos nucleicos. Además, se proveen anticuerpos específicos para las proteínas de la presente invención. Estas proteínas y ácidos nucleicos se utilizan en muchas aplicaciones y métodos, en particular en el etiquetado de organismos, células, organelos celulares, o proteínas. Incluso, estas composiciones de proteínas y nucleótidos se utilizan en métodos para detectar interacciones entre proteínas, someter a prueba la actividad de los promotores en diversas condiciones. Finalmente, se proveen conjuntos para el uso de las proteínas y los ácidos nucleicos de la presente invención en la diversidad de métodos y aplicaciones.
