Abstract
El presente dispositivo de reparación de grietas de concreto (CCRD) puede estar comprendido de dos nódulos conectados por medio de una tira alargada, en donde la tira alargada puede ser más estrecha que los nódulos en al menos un plano. Tanto la tira alargada como los nódulos pueden comprender fibras de carbono, en donde la mayoría de las fibras de carbono están ubicadas dentro del mismo plano maximizando la resistencia a la tensión del dispositivo. La instalación del CCRD se puede llevar a cabo perforando agujeros en la superficie del concreto a cada lado de la grieta y cortando una ranura en la superficie del concreto entre los dos agujeros, o agregando los agujeros después de haber cortado la ranura, en donde la ranura y agujeros se ubican en una línea que es aproximadamente perpendicular a la grieta. Después se puede instalar el CCRD colocando cada nódulo en un agujero y la tira alargada dentro de la ranura.
