Abstract

Se describe un módulo para una estructura submarina. El módulo comprende una pluralidad de paredes que definen una cavidad configurada de tal manera que al menos dos paredes de la mencionada pluralidad de paredes estén enfrente la una de la otra para proporcionar superficies de soporte de apilamiento respectivas a fin de servir de apoyo para el módulo; las paredes son sustancialmente paralelas para formar superficies de apilamiento complementarias, de modo que una superficie de apilamiento puede descansar sobre una superficie y la otra superficie de apilamiento complementaria proporciona una superficie de descanso para otro módulo. La ruta de flujo de agua puede considerarse sin restricciones o al menos sustancialmente sin restricciones, ya que el agua puede fluir a través de las aberturas y la cavidad sin desviaciones o interrupciones que no sean las producidas por el módulo o las paredes de la cavidad. En la formación apilada, una abertura puede estar ocluida o parcialmente ocluida, pero aun así el módulo, por sí solo, puede proporcionar rutas de agua que puede considerarse que no tienen restricciones o no tienen restricciones sustanciales.
