Abstract

En la presente se describen de forma detallada métodos y sistemas para determinar la posición de etiquetas. Un sistema de determinación de posición de etiquetas puede incluir etiquetas montadas en la cara frontal de las unidades de estantería. Las etiquetas pueden incluir patrones conductores en la cara posterior de la etiqueta. Los patrones conductores de las etiquetas pueden acoplarse eléctricamente con cables eléctricamente conductores que se extienden a lo largo de una cara frontal de un estante. El sistema además puede incluir un controlador acoplado a cables eléctricamente conductores, configurado para transmitir impulsos eléctricos a través de los cables eléctricamente conductores.
