Abstract

Provided is a foil stripping tool for a shielded wire formed by assembling a cylindrical insertion part (10) and a cylindrical separation part (20) integrally. A conical insertion hole (11) whose inner diameter is reduced toward the separation part (20) is formed in the insertion part (10). A separation hole (21) communicating with the insertion hole (11), an air supply hole (22) parallel to the separation hole (21), a branch air supply hole (23) communicating the air supply hole (22) and the separation hole (20), and an exhaust hole (24) arranged at a position opposed to the branch air supplyhole (23) are formed in the separation part (21). Air supplied from the opening end (22b) side of the air supply hole is blown out from the branch supply hole (23) into the separation hole (21) via the air supply hole (22). The wound foil (2) is unwound from a wire core (1) via the air, is bent or cut by the end portion (21a) of the separation hole, and is cut.
