Abstract

Sistema y método para determinar la ubicación de vía y/o dirección de viaje de un tren incluye por lo menos una computadora programada/configurada para determinar por lo menos una de una vía en la cual que se encuentra el tren y la dirección de viaje en la vía, con base en por lo menos parcialmente una ubicación asociada con por lo menos una locomotora o vagón de control del tren y por lo menos otra ubicación asociada con al menos otra locomotora/vagón de control del tren. La por lo menos una computadora puede ser programada/configurada para determinar la vía en la cual se ubica el tren, en base por lo menos parcialmente en por lo menos una ubicación asociada con la por lo menos una locomotora/vagón de control del tren y por lo menos una ubicación adicional asociada con por lo menos una locomotora/vagón de control adicional de por lo menos un tren adicional.
