Abstract

The invention relates to a masonry unit of the structural prefabricated type, to a method and to a system for building a structural wall or façade without being confined, relating to stackable jalousie-type construction elements that can be produced from a variety of conventionally used materials such as: cement, concrete blocks, clay, rock, adobe, brick, plastic, wood, metal, composite materials and other suitable materials and combinations of same. The modular masonry jalousie-type units are grouped together by means of a shiplap or locking system generating different façade configurations. The design of said jalousie-type masonry units allows different façade configurations depending on the rotation of same, either vertically or horizontally, always respecting the position of the vertical holes. In some cases, it allows modulation with jalousie-type masonry units of different families. It has a wide variety of shapes and the type of framework defines the level of privacy that can be obtained from one space to another, as well as for ventilation and light transmission and diffusion purposes, which results in the rapid construction of a jalousie-type supporting structure with anti-seismic properties. The designs are created as sets of textures that allow the passage of light and air, some as horizontal holes and others as solid parts which, when grouped together, create spaces between each other for the passage of light and air, generating an environment with play of shadows, lights and ventilation.
