Abstract

Un método de formación y procesamiento de una aleación de aluminio de alta resistencia para la producción de un componente de vehículo incluye proporcionar una hoja de metal que fue laminada a partir de una aleación de aluminio. La hoja es tratada con calor a través de una primera etapa de envejecimiento de un conjunto de etapas de envejecimiento que son necesarias para alcanzar un estado de templado T6 o T7. Antes de alcanzar el estado de templad T6 o T7, la hoja es formada en una forma deseada y es soldada en la forma deseada para producir un componente deseado de vehículo.
