Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a una aleación de magnesio adecuada para el uso como un artículo corroible de fondo de pozo. La aleación de magnesio comprende: (a) 2-7% en peso de Gd, (b) 0-2% en peso de Y, (c) 0-5.0% en peso de Nd, y (d) al menos 80% en peso de Mg, y tiene un alargamiento como se mide por ASTM B557M-10 de al menos el 22%. La invención también se refiere a una herramienta de fondo de pozo que comprende la aleación de magnesio, a un método para producir una aleación de magnesio y a un método de fracturación hidráulica que comprende el uso de una herramienta de fondo de pozo que comprende la aleación de magnesio.
