Abstract
La presente invención refiere a un procedimiento para la formación de fibras minerales por centrifugación interna mediante un dispositivo que incluye un cesto y un plato de fibrado adaptados para girar en forma conjunta alrededor de un eje de rotación, el cesto incluye una pared anular perforada con numerosos orificios y el plato de fibrado posee una pared anular perforada con numerosos orificios, dicho procedimiento comprende: - la alimentación del cesto con material a ser extraído en fibras a una temperatura Ta; - la centrifugación del material a ser extraído en fibras por rotación del cesto y del plato de fibrado en forma conjunta, caracterizado porque el factor F es superior a 2000, el factor F se define por F = (Ver Fórmula); en la que µa es la viscosidad del material a ser extraído en fibras a la temperatura Ta; d es la distancia entre la pared anular del cesto y la pared anular del plato de fibrado; N es el número de orificios del cesto; y Q es el volumen de alimentación del material a ser extraído en fibras.
