Abstract

Los sistemas y métodos en el presente documento se proporcionan para distinguir de manera inteligente entre diferentes versiones de un recurso multimedia y almacenar selectivamente aquellos recursos multimedia solicitados que difieren de las versiones que se almacenaron previamente en algunas características predefinidas. Estos sistemas y métodos, al identificar una versión del recurso multimedia solicitado que se almacenó previamente, determinan una característica del recurso multimedia solicitado. Estos sistemas y métodos comparan la característica del recurso multimedia solicitado con una característica correspondiente de la versión del recurso multimedia solicitado que se almacenó previamente para determinar una diferencia entre las dos versiones. los sistemas y métodos entonces determinan si la diferencia en la caracteristica hace que el recurso multimedia solicitado sea preferible en lugar de la versión previamente almacenada.
