Abstract
La invención se refiere a dispositivos (10) y a métodos para pasteurizar y/o esterilizar material en partículas. Los dispositivos contienen al menos una fuente de electrones (20) para generar un haz de electrones y una zona de tratamiento (19) en la cual el material puede ser pasteurizado y/o esterilizado por el haz de electrones. En un primer aspecto, el dispositivo (10) comprende adicionalmente una superficie de vibración (11) la cual puede ser excitada para vibrar con la finalidad de transportar e individualizar el material, en donde la primera superficie de vibración (11) tiene una pluralidad de muescas (12) en la cual el material puede ser transportado y por medio de la cual el material puede ser individualizado. En un segundo aspecto, el dispositivo (10) tiene un canal de material (21) en el que el material puede ser pasteurizado y/o esterilizado por el haz de electrones en la región de la zona de tratamiento (19). El dispositivo (10) tiene al menos un canal auxiliar (22) a través del cual puede fluir un fluido y que corre al menos parcialmente entre la fuente de electrones (20) y el canal de material (21) y se separa de manera fluida del canal de material (21). La invención se refiere adicionalmente a un cartucho (24) para insertarse en un dispositivo (10) para pasteurizar y/o esterilizar material en partículas.
