Abstract
La invención se refiere a la utilización de macroalgas marinas rojas para proporcionar mejoras en el desempeño del crecimiento de ganado, particularmente de animales rumiantes para la producción de carne roja, especialmente ganado vacuno, en sistemas de alimentación por pastoreo o en corrales de engorda. Se provee un método para mejorar el desempeño de crecimiento de un animal de ganado en un sistema de chanza que incluye: proporcionar una macroalga marina roja al sistema de crianza para permitir el consumo de la macroalga marina roja por el animal de ganado en el sistema de crianza, mejorando asl el desempeño del crecimiento del animal de ganado en el sistema.
