Abstract

Uso de un poliéster termoplástico para producir fibras, teniendo dicho poliéster al menos una unidad 1,4:3,6-dianhidrohexitol (A), al menos una unidad diol alicíclico (B) distinta de las unidades 1,4:3,6-dianhidrohexitol (A), al menos una unidad ácido tereftálico (C), en donde la relación (A)/[(A)+(B)] es al menos 0.05 y a lo sumo 0.30, estando dicho poliéster libre de unidades diol alifático no cíclico o comprendiendo una cantidad molar de unidades diol alifático no cíclico, con relación a la totalidad de unidades monoméricas del poliéster, de menos de 5%, y con una viscosidad reducida en solución (25ºC; fenol (50% en peso):orto-diclorobenceno (50% en peso); 5 g/L de poliéster) mayor que 50 mL/g.
