Abstract
La presente invención se dirige a un sistema de obtención de imágenes por ultrasonido que tiene un ensamble de guía de aguja con asistencia motorizada para una colocación de agujas más fácil durante un procedimiento médico guiado por ultrasonido. El sistema de obtención de imágenes por ultrasonido incluye una sonda de ultrasonido que tiene un alojamiento de transductor, un transmisor de transductor, un ensamble de guía de aguja acoplado en forma comunicativa a la sonda de ultrasonido, por lo menos un componente de activador configurado con el ensamble de guía de aguja, y un controlador. De este modo, el controlador se configura para determinar un ángulo de inserción y una posición lateral para el ensamble de guía de aguja con respecto a la sonda de ultrasonido con base en el sitio objetivo, y controlar el componente de activador con base en el ángulo de inserción y la posición lateral, con el fin de ubicar el ensamble de guía de aguja en el sitio objetivo durante un procedimiento médico.
