Abstract
The present invention relates to a valve that closes automatically when it infers a leak in a supply network in which it is installed and that generates its energy required for its operation from the liquid or gaseous fluid that flows thereof. The valve takes advantage of the self-generation of electrical energy to determine a fluid flow rate passing through it without the need of a flowmeter.
