Abstract

El objetivo de la invención es identificar glutatión-S-transferasa que muestra las actividades para metabolizar y desintoxicar un derivado de isoxazolina, tal como piroxasulfona. La invención proporciona un método para cultivar una planta transgénica en la que se ha introducido un ácido nucleico que codifica para una proteína (a o b) a continuación en presencia de derivados de isoxazolina: (a) una proteína que comprende la secuencia de aminoácidos como la mostrada en SEQ ID NO: 2; o (b) una proteína que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos que tiene una identidad del 80% o superior con la secuencia de aminoácidos como la mostrada en SEQ ID NO: 2 y que tiene la actividad de glutatión-S-transferasa.
