Abstract
Se describe un sustrato revelador que comprende: a) una capa de sustrato superior que comprende un polímero opaco sensible a la aplicación de calor o presión, y se vuelve transparente al ser calentada a una temperatura predeterminada o sometida a una presión predeterminada, y b) una capa de sustrato inferior que tiene una o más áreas de color en su superficie superior, dispuesta de tal manera que una o más áreas de color son oscurecidas por el polímero opaco antes de ser calentadas a la temperatura predeterminada o sometidas a la presión predeterminada, y se revelan posteriormente, en donde: cada una de una o más áreas de color comprende al menos dos colores diferentes, y comprende una matriz bidimensional formada por una pluralidad de bloques de color, cada uno de la pluralidad de bloques de color que tiene solo un color, y los bloques de color están dispuestos para tener un patrón de color repetitivo. Alternativamente, la capa de sustrato superior comprende un material opaco que puede inducirse, por ejemplo, por UV, para volverse transparente. Además, la capa de sustrato superior puede comprender un material transparente que puede inducirse, por ejemplo, por UV, para volverse opaco. También se describen métodos para usar los sustratos descritos.
