Abstract
Una formulación de concreto ligero que contiene cemento Portland, agregados, partículas de vidrio, agua y metacaolín. Por lo menos el 80% de las partículas de vidrio tienen un tamaño de grano inferior a 2 mm. Las partículas de vidrio contribuyen entre el 3% y el 20% del peso total de la formulación de concreto. El metacaolín contribuye entre el 4% y el 12% del peso total de la formulación de concreto. Las partículas de vidrio son preferiblemente partículas de vidrio expandidas. También se proporciona una formulación de lechada ligera que contiene cemento Portland, partículas de vidrio, agua y metacaolín. Por lo menos el 80% de las partículas de vidrio tienen un tamaño de grano inferior a 2 mm. Las partículas de vidrio contribuyen entre el 3% y el 15% del peso total de la formulación de lechada. El metacaolín contribuye entre el 7% y el 15% del peso total de la formulación de lechada.
