Abstract

En algunas modalidades, se proporcionan en la presente aparatos y métodos útiles para recopilar y procesar datos de imágenes relacionados con entregas minoristas. En algunas modalidades, se proporciona un sistema para capturar imágenes de contenedores de entrega de mercancías, el sistema comprende: al menos un vehículo aéreo no tripulado (UAV) que tiene un sensor óptico para capturar secuencias de imágenes; un dispositivo de memoria para almacenar las secuencias de imágenes capturadas; una base de datos de imágenes que incluye imágenes de al menos uno de texto, símbolos, logotipos, diseños gráficos e imágenes de contenedores conocidos de entrega de mercancías; y un circuito de control configurado para: recibir las secuencias de imágenes capturadas; compara las secuencias de imágenes con las imágenes de la base de datos de imágenes; determine imágenes individuales en las secuencias de imágenes que coincidan con las imágenes de la base de datos de imágenes para identificar los contenedores de entrega de mercancías; y determinar, basado en las secuencias de imágenes, la información de dirección correspondiente a las ubicaciones geográficas de los contenedores de entrega de mercancías identificados.
