Abstract
En la presente se divulgan métodos para formar un producto de arcilla de caolín hidratada. El método puede incluir (i) refinar una arcilla de caolín cruda gruesa para formar una arcilla de caolín gruesa refinada, y/o refinar una arcilla de caolín cruda, fina y terciaria para formar una arcilla de caolín hidratada, fina y refinada, (ii) centrifugar la arcilla de caolín gruesa refinada; la arcilla de caolín hidratada, tina y refinada, o una mezcla de estas para proporcionar un flujo de caolín hidratado, y (iii) refinar el flujo de caolín hidratado para formar el producto de arcilla de caolín hidratada. El flujo de caolín hidratado se puede mezclar con una arcilla de caolín gruesa delaminada antes de refinar el flujo de caolín hidratado.
