Abstract
El montaje multicapa (100, 200, 300) para un dispositivo electrónico comprende una película de sustrato (202) configurada para acomodar la electrónica (210, 212, 214) en al menos su primer lado del mismo, teniendo dicha película el primer lado y un segundo lado, al menos una fuente de luz de área (215) en el primer lado de la película de sustrato (202) y configurada para emitir luz de frecuencia o banda de frecuencia predeterminadas, una capa de guía de luz (204) moldeada provista sobre el primer lado de la película de sustrato (202) y al menos parcialmente incorporando la fuente de luz (214), la capa de guía de luz (204) es de material ópticamente al menos translúcido, en donde la capa de guía de luz de plástico (204) está configurada para transmitir luz emitida por la fuente de luz incorporada (215) de modo que la luz transmitida se propague dentro de la capa de guía de luz (204) y se desacopla de la misma a través de una superficie externa de la misma sustancialmente opuesta a la fuentes de luz incorporada, y una capa de enmascaramiento (106) dispuesta en la superficie exterior de la capa de guía de luz de plástico (204) que contiene material sustancialmente opaco para bloquear la vista externa de al menos algunos componentes internos de la estructura multicapa, en donde la capa de enmascaramiento (106) define una ventana (116, 116A, 116B) para dejar que la luz emitida por la fuente de luz incorporada (215) y propagada dentro de la capa de guía de luz de plástico pase a través de la capa de enmascaramiento (106) hacia el entorno; se presenta un método para fabricar el montaje.
