Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar diisocianatos de xililenos (XDI), en particular diisocianatos de metaxilieleno (mXDI), con los pasos siguientes: a. fosgenación de la diamina de xilileno (XDA), en particular diamina de m-xilileno (mXDA) en el caso de mXDI; b. eliminación del ácido clorhídrico del medio de reacción obtenido en el paso a) a una temperatura de entre 120 y 190°C y con una presión de entre 1 milibar y 20 bar.
