Abstract
Un aparato de comunicación incluye un circuito generador de tramas de PHY que genera una trama de PHY que incluye cualquiera de una trama de Barrido de Sectores corto y una trama de Barrido de Sectores; y una antena de la red de transmisión que selecciona, con base en la trama de PHY, algún sector de entre una pluralidad de sectores y transmite la trama de PHY. En un caso donde, en la trama de PHY que incluye la trama de SSW Corto, un campo de dirección de la trama de SSW Corto indica el Barrido de Sectores del Iniciador, el circuito generador de tramas de PHY genera el campo de Retroalimentación de Barrido de Sectores corto que indica un índice del mejor SSW Corto seleccionado con un campo de Identificación de Conjunto de Servicios Básicos Aleatorizada Corta que incluye una dirección abreviada generada a partir de una dirección de un aparato de comunicación de destino.
