Se proporciona un tubo de acero sin costura de resistencia alta, que provee tanto una resistencia alta como una dureza baja de una manera estable, mientras que mantiene la capacidad de soldadura. Un tubo de acero sin costura de resistencia alta que tiene una composición química de, en % en masa: de 0.10 a 0.18 % de C; de 0.03 a 1.0 % de Si; de 0.5 a 2.0 % de Mn; hasta 0.020 % de P; hasta 0.0080 % de S; de 0.10 a 0.60 % de Cr; de 0.10 a 0.40 % de Mo; de 0.02 a 0.40 % de V; de 0.004 a 0.020 % de Ti; de 0.0005 a 0.005 % de B; hasta 0.10 % de Al; hasta 0.008 % de N; de 0.0004 a 0.0040 % de Ca; de 0.1 a 1.0 % de Cu; de 0.2 a 1.0 % de Ni; de 0 a 0.05 % de Nb y el resto siendo Fe e impurezas, en donde se satisface la siguiente fórmula, F (1): C + Si/30 + (Mn+Cu+Cr)/20 + Ni/60 + Mo/15 + V/10 + 5×B = 0.28 F (1) Los símbolos de los elementos en F (1) se sustituyen por los contenidos de los elementos correspondientes en % de masa.
