Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y un aparato para aplicar elementos reductores de ruido a llantas para ruedas de vehículo. Los elementos reductores de ruido, todos iguales entre sí, son suministrados en forma sucesiva en un transportador de acuerdo con una trayectoria predeterminada y están orientados todos en la trayectoria predeterminada de la misma manera. Las llantas de diferentes tamaños son suministradas en forma sucesiva en un transportador hasta una estación de aplicación. En la estación de aplicación, los elementos reductores de ruido son recogidos del transportador y aplicados a las superficies radialmente interiores de las llantas. La aplicación consiste en: arreglar los elementos reductores de ruido con la dimensión más grande dirigida en una dirección circunferencial o arreglar los elementos reductores de ruido con la dimensión más grande dirigida en una dirección axial como una función de los tamaños de la llanta en la cual son aplicados.
