Abstract
El material sinterizado de cBN recubierto en su superficie de la presente invención incluye un material sinterizado de cBN, y un recubrimiento que cubre la superficie del material sinterizado de cBN. El material sinterizado de cBN contiene partículas de cBN y un aglutinante. Una proporción de las partículas de cBN en el material sinterizado de cBN excede 80% en volumen y es menor que o igual a 98% en volumen, el aglutinante contiene un primer compuesto que incluye por lo menos uno de Al y Cr y por lo menos un elemento que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de N, B y O. El recubrimiento contiene una capa A en contacto con el material sintetizado de cBN. La capa A está constituida de Alx1Cry1Mz1Ca1Nb1Oc1 (con la condición de que M sea mayor que o igual a una clase de Ti, V, Nb y Si y que se satisfaga 0.25 = x1 = 0.75, 0.25 = y1 = 0.75, 0 = z1 = 0.5, x1 + y1 + z1 = 1, 0 = a1 = 0.5, 0.5 = b1 = 1, 0 = c1 = 0.1, y a1 + b1 + c1 = 1).
