Abstract
La divulgacion proporciona moleculas de polinucleotidos que codifican defensinas novedosas que confieren tolerancia a plagas y/o actividad pesticida incrementadas cuando son expresadas en una planta y los constructos y vectores de ADN recombinante que comprenden estas moleculas; se proporcionan metodos de elaboracion de plantas transgenicas que comprenden moleculas y constructos de polinucleotidos que codifican defensinas recombinantes y plantas mtransgenicas, partes de planta y semillas producidas por estos metodos; asimismo, se proporcionan mcomposiciones que comprenden una o varias defensinas novedosas de la divulgacion, que tienen actividad pesticida y/o antimicrobiana, asi como metodos para su utilizacion.
