Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a composition for the bricks and concrete manufacture from PET fibers, ecological and environmentally friendly. The composition is characterized by comprising a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber from recycled PET bottle products, plus gray cement or other similar cement, and together or separately includes at least one selected aggregate of sand, clay, soil, pumice, lime and plaster or their mixtures. Additionally, water is added to moisten the mixture and make possible to mold the same into a brick; the mix preferably consists of 15 to 60% of gray cement, 30 to 60% of PET fibers and 15 to 50% of sand. The present invention also refers to the brick obtained with the referred composition and to the manufacturing process thereof.
