Abstract

The invention relates to a separator (1) for bottle-type objects and which is formed from a cardboard template, the separator (1) comprising a longitudinal partition (10) that separates two opposite rows (B) of bottles, and a set of foldable vertical flaps that prevent lateral contact between bottles (C, D) in the same row. According to the invention, the separator comprises a first type of sheet (11) and a second type of sheet (12), each sheet (11) and (12) comprising a central divider (110), (120) and two equidistant, vertical flaps (111), (121), each flap (111), (121) comprising two adjacent vertical portions, one distal (112), (122) and one proximal (113), (123). The flaps (111), (121) are joined to the corresponding sheet (11), (12) by means of vertical folding lines (114), (124), the folding lines being positioned in the vertical direction of the partition (10) and laterally displaced with respect to an imaginary plane (E) that is perpendicular to the partition and passes between the bottles (C, D) of a single row (B) of bottles, the displacement (x) being approximately equivalent to a quarter of the diameter of the bottle.
