Abstract
Se describe un proceso para la preparación de 11133-trioxo-112-benzotiazol-6-carboxamida de la fórmula (I) que comprende: (a) oxidar 2,5-dimetil-bencenosulfonamida de la formula (11) en presencia de un agente oxidante para recibir acido 2-sulfamoil-tereftalico de la formula (III); (b) convertir el ácido 2- sulfamoil-tereftálico formado de la formula (III) para recibir un derivado de ácido 2-sulfamoil-tereftalico de la fórmula (IV); y (c) hacer reaccionar el derivado resultante de ácido 2-sulfamoil-tereftalico de la formula (IV) con amoniaco (NH3) o con una sal que contenga amonio; en donde R representa OR' o CI y R' representa un alquilo C,-C12 ramificado o no ramificado.
