Abstract
Se describe un sistema que captura y utiliza de manera eficiente la capacidad de generación máxima de una fuente de energía alterna. Se proporciona un primer convertidor de potencia entre la fuente de energía alterna y una carga. El primer convertidor de potencia se selecciona de modo que la capacidad del convertidor de potencia sea menor que la capacidad de generación de la fuente de energía alterna. Un segundo convertidor de potencia se selecciona de modo que la capacidad del segundo convertidor sea por lo menos igual a la diferencia entre la capacidad de la fuente de energía alterna y el primer convertidor de potencia. Se proporciona una batería para almacenar la energía adicional generada por la fuente de energía alterna, y el segundo convertidor de potencia se conecta entre la salida de la fuente de energía alterna y la batería. La potencia de salida del primer convertidor de potencia se utiliza para controlar el funcionamiento del segundo convertidor de potencia.
