Abstract

La invención se refiere a un arrancador (1) y un sistema que comprende un arrancador (1), así como un método de ignición eléctrica de una mezcla exotérmica, el arrancador (1) comprende: - un alojamiento (2); - un compartimento (3) proporcionado con el alojamiento (2); - una primera mezcla exotérmica (15) de por lo menos un metal y un óxido proporcionados en el compartimento (3); - un primer electrodo (4') conectable a una primera terminal de una fuente de alimentación (17); - un segundo electrodo (4") conectable a una segunda terminal de la fuente de alimentación (17); en donde por lo menos partes de los primero y segundo electrodos (4', 4") están en contacto con la primera mezcla exotérmica (15); en donde el primer electrodo (4') y el segundo electrodo (4") están provistos a una distancia (d) entre sí, en donde, al aplicar un voltaje superior a un valor umbral predeterminado entre los primero y segundo electrodos (4'), (4"), se crea un campo electromagnético (CEM) en la primera mezcla exotérmica (15) entre los primero y segundo electrodos (4'), (4").
