Abstract
Se proporciona un material polimérico que cambia de color. El material se forma a partir de una composición termoplástica que contiene una fase continua que incluye un polímero de matriz, un colorante, un aditivo de microinclusión, y un aditivo de nanoinclusión, en donde el aditivo de microinclusión y el aditivo de nanoinclusión se dispersan dentro de la fase continua en forma de dominios discretos. Se forma una red porosa en el material polimérico cuando se somete a una tensión de deformación en un estado sólido. El material polimérico exhibe un primer color antes de someterse a la tensión de deformación y un segundo color después de someterse a la tensión de deformación, primer color que es diferente del segundo color.
