Abstract
Un Nodo de Red de Radio (RNN) 106 y un método en el mismo para proveer una robustez mejorada de un enlace de radio entre el RNN y un dispositivo inalámbrico 108. El RNN y el dispositivo inalámbrico operan en una red de comunicaciones 100. El RNN transmite, hacia el dispositivo inalámbrico, una transmisión con un primer modo de transmisión asociado con un primer nivel de extensión de cobertura. Cuando ha transcurrido un primer período de tiempo, el RNN transmite, hacia el dispositivo inalámbrico, la transmisión usando un segundo modo de transmisión asociado con un segundo nivel de extensión de cobertura. El segundo nivel de extensión de cobertura es más alto que el primer nivel de extensión de cobertura.
