Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para elaborar una composición de espuma, el proceso comprende las etapas de: (A) Formar una mezcla que comprende polietileno de alta densidad (HDPE), polietileno de baja densidad (LDPE) y un peróxido; y (B) Poner en contacto la mezcla de (A) con dióxido de carbono (CO2) a una presión mayor de o igual a 15 megaPascales (MPa). En una modalidad el peróxido es DTAP. En una modalidad la mezcla de (A) comprende además, un compuesto fílico-CO2 tal como PDMS.
